On March 16, Broadcom Integrated released an announcement stating that the company recently received the "Acceptance Notice" No. (2021) Hu73ZhiMinChu410 from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, which has accepted the company's case against Litong Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Kaihuang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. for infringement of invention patent rights.
According to the disclosure, the company has filed a lawsuit with the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court for infringement of the company's invention patent No. 201410109934.9 by Litong Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Kaihuang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and the lawsuit was accepted. The company requires Litong to stop the infringement and compensate for the economic losses caused to the company by its infringement and the reasonable expenses paid by the plaintiff to stop the infringement, totaling RMB 98,113,882. It also requires Shanghai Kaihuang Electronics to stop the infringement and requires the two defendants to bear the litigation costs of this case.
Broadcom Integrated stated that the major litigation described in this announcement will not have a negative impact on the company's current and future profits.
