ZTE: 5G becomes the leader of new infrastructure, how to build a new infrastructure business capability system

Zhu Yongtao, senior vice president of ZTE, said at the New Infrastructure and Enterprise Digitalization Forum held at the same time as GSMA Thrive that 5G lays the foundation for the digital economy and is the ballast stone for economic growth. 5G network construction has taken the lead in enabling the digital transformation of the industry. 5G has accelerated the development of upstream and downstream industrial chains, improved user experience, and enhanced the people's sense of gain and happiness.

Zhu Yongtao said that by analyzing the distribution of the seven major 5G engineering projects in the new infrastructure, it can be seen that the industry is optimistic about intelligent manufacturing as the driving force for 5G to drive industrial upgrading. The proportion of the Internet of Vehicles reflects its status as the field with the most established 5G business logic. The proportion of medical care and education reflects the impact of the epidemic on the new infrastructure.

Zhu Yongtao pointed out that a new infrastructure business capability system for the 5G era should be built around 5G+AI, which includes four major aspects: the data-based "edge + end" to create full-domain intelligent data collection, the network-oriented "network" to create a ubiquitous information network, the intelligence-driven "cloud" to create an intelligent information center, and the ecological empowerment to create an open application system.
