Recently, many netizens reported that when they used the built-in calculator on smartphones such as OPPO, Huawei, Apple, and Xiaomi to calculate "10%+10%", the result was 0.11 instead of 0.2. This may seem like a bug at first glance, but the final result is caused by the logic of the calculator in processing arithmetic symbols.
When people calculate, they prioritize addition, subtraction, and multiplication, doing division first and then addition, and the result is (10%) + (10%) = 0.2. If it is a non-scientific calculator, the calculation logic is considered to be continuous percentage calculation, that is, 10% + 10% is calculated according to the logic of 10% + (10% x 10%) to get a result of 0.11.
However, not all mobile phone calculators use this logic. Netizens said that the results of the calculators of Meizu, Smartisan, and Nubia phones are 0.2. On Xiaomi's scientific calculator, some users show the result as 0.2, while others still show it as 0.11.

The IT Home editor also tested the calculator on Windows 10. Under standard conditions, the result of 10% is 0. In scientific calculator mode, no % symbol is given.
