The Lyra 24 series is a low-power (LE) Bluetooth module based on Silicon Labs EFR32BG24 system-on-chip (SoC) that provides low-power Bluetooth and mesh network connectivity with excellent RF performance, energy efficiency, future-oriented design and excellent Secure Vault® technology for smart home, lighting, asset tags and beacons, secure medical peripherals and industrial IoT sensor applications.
The Laird Connectivity Lyra 24 Bluetooth 5.3 module from Mouser Electronics features a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with digital signal processing (DSP) instructions and floating point units operating at 2.4 GHz and has 1536 kB Flash and 256 kB RAM. The Lyra 24 series is available in multiple module versions, including PCB modules up to 10dBm and 20dBm, as well as small 7mm x 7mm SIP modules. These modules support built-in antenna or RF pins, feature a rich set of analog and digital peripherals, and fit any host board size.
The Lyra 24 Bluetooth module also features a fully scalable and powerful software stack, global regulatory certifications, and advanced development and debugging tools to significantly simplify engineering design and development. This series of modules can be integrated with supported software options (C Code and AT Command Set), using Silicon Labs' Simplicity Studio environment for C language code development, or using Laird Connectivity's simple, powerful and easy-to-use AT Command Set firmware. Hosted application for external MCU . The Lyra 24 low-power Bluetooth module has an operating voltage range of 1.8V to 3.8V and a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
These module options come with a low-cost, easy-to-use development kit and certified packaged USB adapter to add Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity to any device with virtual COM port capabilities.
