At the 2020 Industrial Internet Conference held recently, Zhao Dachun, deputy general manager of China Mobile, delivered a keynote speech entitled "5G+Industrial Internet, Opening a New Chapter of Digital Economy", introducing China Mobile's latest practices of 5G+Industrial Internet, and elaborating on the "5G+" plan and the "five upgrades" development strategy of network upgrade, platform upgrade, application upgrade, model upgrade and ecological upgrade.
Zhao Dachun said that China Mobile has thoroughly implemented the country's "new infrastructure" policy, comprehensively implemented the "5G+" plan, strengthened cooperation with leading companies in vertical fields, and focused on scale expansion in 15 key industries.
So far, China Mobile has opened nearly 300,000 5G base stations, served more than 70 million 5G package users, and obtained more than 1,800 5G patents. 5G has become the main artery of social information flow, an accelerator for industrial transformation and upgrading, and a new cornerstone for building a digital society.

China Mobile is implementing the "five upgrades" strategy to accelerate network upgrades, platform upgrades, application upgrades, model upgrades and ecosystem upgrades to promote the accelerated development of 5G+Industrial Internet.
In terms of network upgrade, we released 5G private network products and introduced three modes of 5G private network: Premium, Exclusive and Premium, to achieve network following business and on-demand network construction. At the same time, we promoted the 2B transformation of 5G private network operation mode, realized network self-operation, self-service and self-development; created basic, value-added and flexible multi-dimensional tariff mode, so that customers can flexibly choose network capabilities according to their needs.
In terms of platform upgrade, we will leverage the amplifying, superimposed and multiplier effects of 5G to comprehensively upgrade the industrial Internet platform system and provide in-depth services to more than 400 industrial enterprises.
In terms of application upgrades, we have selected 5G+Industrial Internet application scenarios, promoted the construction of 100 group-level leading demonstration projects and more than 1,400 provincial regional characteristic projects, and have awarded 20 projects in 12 provinces the title of excellent "5G+Industrial Internet Demonstration Base".
In terms of model upgrading, based on the "four commons" concept of joint discovery of needs, joint innovation of products, joint delivery of projects, and joint creation of value, we will unite industry customers and partners to promote cross-border integration and innovation.
In terms of ecological upgrading, it has introduced four types of cooperation models, namely "strategic cooperation, joint R&D, equity participation and mergers and acquisitions, and procurement and supply", took the lead in initiating the 5G Joint Innovation Center and the 5G Industry Digitalization Alliance, built three types of 5G partner databases, and launched a "double 10 billion" plan of introducing 10 billion ecology and sharing 10 billion.
Zhao Dachun emphasized that 5G is not only the 5G of operators, but also the 5G of thousands of industries. China Mobile will seize the unprecedented opportunities brought by the "new infrastructure" and has initially formed a demonstration effect through the layout of 5G vertical industries.
Looking to the future, we will continue to deepen the implementation of the "5G+Industrial Internet" 512 project, strengthen our mission, work together with partners from all walks of life, and fully promote the development of 5G+Industrial Internet, opening a new chapter in the development of the digital economy.
