When it comes to single-axis robots, I believe many people are not very familiar with them, let alone the installation method of single-axis robots? In fact, single-axis robots must be installed correctly before use, so that they can play the best effect. Today we will share the installation steps and process of single-axis robots.
1. For single-axis robots, the positions of both ends of the fixed brake must be selected according to the size of the selected brake stroke, so that the brake can fit the equipment when it moves forward and backward.
2. The single-axis robot mounting base should be placed in the selected fixed position.
3. Combine the joints at both ends of the actuator with the fixing pins on the fixing seat mentioned in point 2. The combination between the fixing pin and the joints at both ends of the actuator cannot be completely tight. There must be a gap so that the actuator can still rotate freely on the fixing pin. The combination between the joints at both ends of the actuator, the fixing pin and the fixing seat must not be loose when the actuator is stationary or moving.
4. If the movement of the brake is on a horizontal plane, the brake should be installed horizontally. If the movement of the brake is on a vertical plane, the brake should be installed vertically. If this principle is not followed, the actuator may be blocked and damaged during operation.
5. After fixing the actuator, first test it by discontinuously energizing it manually to make the actuator move back and forth to check whether the process meets the design requirements and whether the motor stops running when the actuator moves to the maximum and minimum strokes designed for installation. If the actuator movement does not meet the design requirements or the motor fails to stop running, it needs to be reinstalled.
The above are some installation steps for single-axis robots. When installing single-axis robots, we must pay attention to the above details. If you have other questions, please consult Taiwan High Technology!
