Now it’s easy to make this kind of little thing, Gaga is a “reference” solution.

The first step is to determine the function of this thing and let the function guide the design.

The official also uses BLE for control

In fact, the Bluetooth information of previous generations was not provided by the official, but by a guy from Github.

This guy gave me the reverse data.

It uses an OLED screen, but I haven't found the exact one.

But it's 20 Pin 's feet.

Same as the rendering

The only interesting thing is that the battery is a three-wire battery. If the battery does not have a protection board, there are three wires: the red wire is the positive electrode, the black wire is the negative electrode, and the other colored wire is the middle electrode of the battery. These three wires are connected to the motherboard of the product , and the middle electrode provides the product motherboard with the function of monitoring the lithium battery voltage.

... Ah, for cheapness?

The board is purple, which looks better.

Two chips on the front

57508654-2bbc-11ee-a368-dac502259ad0.png

A charging chip and an LDO . The Schottky diode is used to protect the input of the power supply . As for the pins, anti-shake and so on, they are all handled by software.

But I still want to say that I don’t understand why this Schottky is placed here. What is it for? To prevent the current from above from flowing back to the chip through the power supply? Maybe...

When I checked the silk screen, I also found an OP with the same package.

But it is actually a linear regulator , there is no need for OP

This is the charging chip.

That's it, and the VOUT trace is obviously much wider.

The above is using ESP32 -C3, leaving a nice test point for testing

Wait? This thing is the burning port, and the front is a serial port.

Let Mr. Ma read it and see if he can read anything.

Nothing

I like the battery interface too. I will draw it next time I draw the board. The FPC socket is also close enough to the chip.

The parallel screen refreshes quickly, using pins to change the speed. But it certainly doesn't use 20 lines. Maybe when this was designed, the supplier or the family had a lot of screens like this?

Enough pins, BLE, and cheap enough

The IPXE antenna port is reserved, and the distance will be longer if the antenna is added. But the antenna is directly installed on the board.

C3's film is like this

Thanks to Mr. Ma for supporting the screen, I found it directly:

The screen is this one.

Let's praise Mr. Ma

I don't even have a triode, and I can't use it. Then this solution is just right. I feel that C3 is very suitable for making a remote control. I originally wanted to copy it. It's so simple, just make it yourself~
