The network port of the WiFi module should be discussed from two aspects.

(1) Hardware:

Network interface refers to the various interfaces of network devices. The network interfaces we are using today are all Ethernet interfaces.

Common Ethernet interface types include RJ-45 interface, RJ-11 interface, SC fiber optic interface, FDDI interface, AUI interface, BNC interface, and Console interface.

(2) Software:

Network ports are divided into: WAN port, LAN port

The WAN port is used to connect to the external network (public network), or to connect to the broadband operator's equipment.

LAN ports (1, 2, 3, 4) are used to connect devices in the intranet (local area network), mainly used to connect computers, switches, printers and other devices.
