NCS8823 is a DisplayPort signal to VGA converter through USB Type-C connector. It is suitable for USB Type-C to VGA converter, adapter, docking device. This device combines a DisplayPort receiver and a VGA transmitter based on USB Type-C. NCS8823 can work without any external configuration or settings. CS5260 can completely replace the compatible NCS8823 chip. CS5260 integrates a DP1.4 compliant receiver and a VGA interface. In addition, a CC controller is used for CC communication to implement DP Alt mode. CS5260 supports USB Type-C Display Port Alternate Mode. CS5260 can transmit video and audio streams from the USB Type-C interface to the VGA port. In the CS5260 chip, the DisplayPort v1.2 receiver supports 1, 2, 4 different 1.62Gbps, 2.7Gbps and 5.4Gbps frequency configuration inputs, and supports 1920x1200P@60Hz when VGA output. Solution designers can use CS5260 to implement operations such as TYPE-C to VGA audio and video application conversion and program pause.
