Mitsubishi Q series PLC connected to CHNet-Q to achieve Ethernet communication configuration method
CHNet-Q is an economical Ethernet communication processor developed by Xingda Easy Control. It is designed to meet the increasing needs of factory equipment informatization (equipment network monitoring and production management). It is used for Ethernet data acquisition of Mitsubishi Q series PLC round ports, which is very convenient for building a production management system.
CHNet-Q adopts modular design and has communication line. It does not occupy PLC programming port, that is, while programming software/host computer software monitors PLC data through Ethernet, the touch screen can communicate with PLC through multiplexing interface X2.
CHNet-Q supports most SCADA software in the industrial control field, and supports two communication methods: Mitsubishi MC Ethernet protocol and ModbusTCP.
CHNet-Q features:
1. Installed on a 35mm rail, no external power supply required. COM1 port is connected to Q's MD6 programming communication port, and COM2 expansion port is used for touch screen communication.
2. Parameters of the device can be set and operation diagnosis can be performed through the WEB server or the configuration diagnostic tool NetDevice.
3. The baud rate of the Q programming communication port is automatically adjusted to meet the needs of large data communication.
4. Support Ethernet communication of MELSOFT products (GX Works2, GX Developer, etc.).
5. Supports MC Ethernet protocol (MELSEC Communication Protocol) communication with the host computer and access by host software (Kingview, MCGS, Force Control, IFIX , INTOUCH, KepWare OPC server, etc.).
6. Integrated ModbusTCP server, supports FC1, FC2, FC3, FC5, FC6, FC16, and the Modbus data area is automatically mapped to the Q data area.
7. Support CHNetTCP/IP transparent transmission protocol communication.
8. Using MC communication protocol or transparent transmission, high-level language (such as VB, VC, C# , etc.) programming can be realized to achieve data communication with Mitsubishi Q, which is convenient for the development of production management system.
9. SCADA (host configuration software) that supports OPC channels communicates with Q in OPC mode.
10. It can realize MELSOFT connection, MC protocol connection, CHNetTCP transparent transmission and ModbusTCP connection at the same time. It supports the connection of 6 host computers.

Connect programming software
1. Open the programming software GX Works2 and click "PLC Read" in "Online";
2. In the pop-up option box, select Q(Qm de) and click "Confirm";
3. Double-click "Ethernet Board" and click "Yes" in the pop-up reminder option;
4. Double-click "Ethernet Module", enter the module's IP address in the pop-up window, and click "Confirm";
5. Now the settings are complete. Click OtherStart , then click "Communication Test " . A message "Connection with Q00UCPU is successful" will appear. If the connection is unsuccessful, please check whether the internal parameters of the module are configured correctly. Click "Confirm" and then click "Confirm" for the transmission settings.
6. Select the content to be read, click "Execute", and then click "Confirm";
7. Click "Yes", the upload process is complete, click "Confirm";
8. The PLC program upload is complete, and click the monitor button to start monitoring.
