Wind River, a leading global provider of intelligent edge software, recently announced that Nezha Auto selected Wind River Linux to develop its XPC smart domain controller (XPC-S32G). In smart cars, the integrated gateway domain controller can serve as the "central nervous system" to support iterative upgrades and enhance security and control functions.

As the network control center of intelligent software-defined vehicles, Haozhi Supercomputing XPC-S32G can realize secure cross-domain data interconnection, and has strong automotive network security and efficient and low-latency vehicle control management capabilities. It integrates nine core functions: central gateway, vehicle thermal management, battery energy management, power torque management, remote diagnosis and calibration, complete data collection, SOA gateway, edge computing and remote upgrade (OTA) host. Starting with the Nezha S model to be released later this year, Haozhi Supercomputing XPC-S32G will be installed in various new models of Nezha Auto.
The XPC-ICDC controller is a scalable electronic and electrical architecture based on the Nezha Automobile Shanhai platform. It integrates NXP Semiconductors' S32G high-performance vehicle network processor, uses Arm® Cortex®-M7 and Cortex-A53 processor cores, and runs the Wind River Linux operating system. The XPC-ICDC controller uses the service-oriented architecture (SOA) software framework developed by Hirain Technologies' domain controller technology.
