Most AEBs are based on "one-step braking", which gives drivers a poor feeling and increases safety risks in special scenarios, such as vehicles transporting steel pipes or hazardous chemicals. Therefore, Sotorian has teamed up with logistics companies, freight platforms and other end users to jointly develop and upgrade products in the direction of commercial vehicle braking algorithms. It continuously upgrades algorithms and optimizes products through feedback from drivers' needs, and finally forms a braking strategy of "warning first, then deceleration, and then braking", achieving smooth braking and improving driver experience.

Jimu Intelligence, Maxieye, and SmartEye have made breakthroughs in visual algorithms, and some of their performance has surpassed the industry leader Mobileye.

JIMU Intelligent has already supplied in bulk to many domestic bus companies including Suzhou King Long, Xiamen Golden Dragon, Shanghai Shenlong, Youngman Automobile, Zhuhai Yinlong, and Shanghai Vientiane.

Maxieye has obvious advantages in the AEBS market and has established cooperative relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 companies such as Zhengzhou Yutong, Great Wall Motor, BAIC Foton, Xiamen Golden Dragon, Ankai Bus, Sinotruk HOWO, Tianjin Qingzhi, Ruili Kemi, and Wanan Technology.

Zhongke Huiyan has been deeply engaged in binocular vision and has made breakthroughs in height limitation and binocular AEB. By the end of 2019, its products had been used on buses in more than a dozen cities.

In addition, Zhonghuan Satellite and Hongquan IoT, which have accumulated many customers in the commercial vehicle Internet of Vehicles, have also expanded their product lines from Internet of Vehicles to commercial vehicle ADAS. Such suppliers are not as competitive as start-ups that are good at algorithms in single-vehicle intelligence, but they have comprehensive competitiveness in vehicle-road collaboration and intelligent transportation projects.
