According to foreign media reports, GS Yuasa, a leader in automotive batteries, announced the launch of a new Yuasa AGM auxiliary battery for next-generation vehicles - Yuasa YBXAX14. The battery is designed to support 12V auxiliary and backup applications for a variety of Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz models.
The battery manufacturer's Yuasa YBXAX14 battery can meet the increasingly stringent requirements of modern cars. Hundreds of thousands of cars in the UK are mainly Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz brands. Such cars require this type of battery to provide additional power load support for the starting battery.
The Yuasa YBXAX14 battery is developed according to the original equipment (OE) standard. It meets the OE standards in terms of quality, performance and specifications, and is an ideal choice for vehicles equipped with enhanced auxiliary battery systems. The key feature of this battery is that it is equipped with an OE-matched on-board ventilation vent cap with a 6mm vent hole, which can be equipped with an OE breather tube, so that it can safely replace the existing backup battery.
The YBXAX14 battery is fully charged and ready to install, requires no maintenance, has leak-proof construction and no free acid for maximum safety. In addition, the battery uses market-leading absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology for a long service life, making it the perfect choice for automotive mechanics and repair personnel to maintain the next generation of vehicles.
YBXAX14 batteries are widely used in Mercedes-Benz and BMW models, and the most popular Mercedes-Benz models are A-Class, G-Class and E-Class. In these models, the main function of the battery is to provide backup power for the Sensotronic Brake Control system and provide power load support for emission reduction models using micro hybrid technology.
In BMW models, this battery is mainly used to meet the power needs of models with heavy front axle load and Integral Active Steering systems.
