Serial communication between CC2541 and MSP430 [Copy link]

CC2541 and MSP430 communicate via serial port. The levels of CC2541 TX and MSP430 RX are reversed. The communication is not normal. How to solve this problem? I am connecting directly. Do I need to convert the level in the middle?

You can pay attention to the design of the peripheral circuit. I have a lot of CC2541 in stock, and you can communicate with me.   Details Published on 2019-8-8 10:41

Check whether the voltages of the two ICs are consistent. If they are, there is no need to convert them.

The electrical level is reversed? Impossible. How did you come to this conclusion? The serial port of CC2541 is the 51 serial port on the chip, which is standard. If the electrical level is different, it can be converted, but incompatible electrical levels are different from reverse electrical levels.

It's probably a programming problem.

I connected two ports to UCA1 of 430, one of which is the serial port of CC2541. One of them is correct, and the RX and TX levels of CC2541 are exactly opposite.  Details Published on 2019-2-15 09:33

I connected two ports to UCA1 of 430, one of which is the serial port of CC2541, and one is correct. The correct one is exactly the opposite of the RX and TX levels of CC2541.

Yes, it is probably because there is a problem with the chip's peripheral circuit design.  Details Published on 2019-2-19 11:43

The electrical levels are reversed, which is impossible. In addition, according to the electrical levels of CC2541 given on the 14th floor, it means that the two can be directly connected without level conversion.

I suggest you check if it's a level incompatibility issue.
