Generally speaking, sensors are composed of sensitive elements and conversion elements. However, the amount of electricity output by the conversion element is often difficult to display, record, process and control directly. At this time, it is necessary to further transform it into an electrical signal that can be directly used, and the part of the sensor that completes this function is called a measurement circuit.
The measurement circuit is also part of the sensor. With the development of integrated circuit technology, the measurement circuit of the sensor has gradually begun to be integrated into chips.
The measurement circuit generally requires an auxiliary power supply.
The choice of measurement circuit depends on the type of conversion element. Commonly used ones include bridge circuits, pulse width modulation circuits, oscillation circuits, high input impedance circuits, etc.
