The pulse voltage on the collector of IGBT (Q1) is divided by R76+R77 and R53 and sent to the base of Q6. The sampled voltage is obtained at the emitter. This reflects the change of the voltage of Q1 VCE and is sent to the CPU. The CPU automatically makes various action instructions according to the change of the voltage:

  (1) Based on the feedback from the VAC detection circuit and the current detection circuit, it determines whether a suitable pot has been placed in the pan and issues corresponding action instructions (see the section on heating switch control and test process for details).

  (2) According to the VCE sampling voltage value, the PWM pulse width is automatically adjusted to suppress the VCE pulse amplitude to no higher than 1100V (this value is applicable to IGBTs with a withstand voltage of 1200V, and the suppression value for IGBTs with a withstand voltage of 1500V is 1300V).

  (3) When it is detected that the VCE pulse is higher than 1150V due to other reasons (this value is applicable to IGBT with a withstand voltage of 1200V, and this value is 1400V for IGBT with a withstand voltage of 1500V), the CPU immediately issues a stop heating instruction (see the fault code table for details).
