Recently, Texas Instruments (TI) announced the launch of the latest devices designed to achieve high efficiency and low noise to further expand its sensorless, brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver product lineup, which requires as few external components as one capacitor. The DRV10963 is a 5V three-phase sensorless BLDC motor driver that simplifies layout and reduces board space by 80%, helping designers create more innovative, smaller and more stylish designs. It includes integrated commutation logic, no code development is required, and the motor can be started instantly, while its 180-degree pure sine output can achieve efficient and silent drive.
