Overview

MC34063 is a monolithic DC/DC conversion control circuit that contains the main functions required by DC to DC converters. These functions include: a reference voltage source with temperature compensation, a comparator, a duty cycle controllable oscillator with excitation current limit, a driver, and a high current output switch. The circuit is designed for buck, boost, and inverter applications, with few peripheral components.
