MC      S12    Dх     256            х      хх
       (1)   (2)   (3)    (4)    (5)    (6)   (7)    (8)    (9)

(1) Indicates the product status, there are 5 types: MX, XC, PC, KMC, KXC. MC indicates a fully qualified product; XC indicates a partially qualified product, without quality assurance, used for performance evaluation; PC indicates an engineering test product; KMC and KXC indicate sample packaging. In addition, it can be a single letter M, which indicates a series rather than a specific model, such as M68HC23A4EVB.

(2) Memory type. 9 indicates Flash. In the series with model names containing "68HC", this part is after "68HC". 8 indicates EEPROM, 7 indicates EPROM/OTP, 3 indicates ROM type microcontroller, and none indicates mask type. 68HC indicates CMOS, 68HSC indicates high speed, 68HLC indicates low power consumption, and 68 is named for historical reasons.

(3) Kernel type, including S12, S08, 12 (indicates the kernel is CPU12), etc.

(4) Product Series

(5) Approximate value of memory capacity. 256 means 256Kb of internally integrated Flash.

(6) Flash version mark, reflecting different erase voltages, times, etc.

(7) Operating temperature range symbol: None means 0~70℃, I means 0~85℃, C means -40~85℃, V means -40~105℃, and M means -40~125℃.

(8) Package type: DW means SOIC, FA means 7mm*7mm QFP, FB means 10mm*10mm QFP, FE means CQFP, FN means PLCC, FS means CLCC, FT means 28mm*28mm QFP, FU means 14mm*14mm QFP with 80 pins, FZ means CQFP, B, K, L, P, S are not DIP (the specific parameters are different), PU means 20mm*20mm TQFP, PV means 20mm*20mm LQFP with 112 pins.

(9) E stands for lead free packaging.

Some have an option after (9), such as MC68HC912B32ACFUE8, where "8" means the bus frequency is 8MHz.

Freescale 9S12 Series MCU Application Notes (ECT Module) 5
Experiment 5: Getting Started with Input Capture Function Input capture, in simple terms, is to sense the level change on the input pin PTx. If a level change is found, then: The value of the TCNT counter is saved in the input capture register TCx, and the status flag is set to 1. If the interrupt is enabled, an

Freescale MC9S08AW60 Assembly Learning Notes (Part 4)
When faced with a complex program, we cannot put all of it into the main program, as that would make people's thinking unclear. So we added subroutines so that the program would be organized. The main program determines our thinking, and the subroutines implement specific functions. If the program does not achieve t
