According to news on May 15, for India, they are increasing financial support for the research and development of local processors.

Now, India's Advanced Computing Development Center (C-DAC) has announced that it is developing its first local ARM architecture CPU, and its overall parameters look quite good.

Judging from the announced AUM processor, it provides 96 ARM cores (ARM Neoverse V1 architecture, each small chip contains 48 V1 cores), 96GB HBM3, and 128 PCIe Gen 5 channels, based on TSMC’s 5nm process.

In addition, the TD of this processor is 320W. Both chips have built-in 96MB L2 cache and 96MB system cache. The main frequency is 3-3.5GHz. Its dual-socket server can support up to 4 standard GPU accelerators. It will be available as soon as the end of the year.

C-DAC has also prepared Vega series CPUs based on dual-core and quad-core designs, targeting entry-level customers who need low-power and low-cost chips, and is expected to meet at least 10% of India's chip demand.

There has been news before that India is trying again to attract investment from chip companies to set up factories. According to reports, people familiar with the matter said that New Delhi is preparing to restart a previous US$10 billion industrial incentive plan aimed at boosting local chip manufacturing capabilities.

India wants to follow the example of the United States in increasing local chip production and reducing its dependence on the import of Chinese chips (or even not using it at all). Previous incentive programs have not attracted large international chip manufacturers to set up production bases in India, and India's semiconductor supply chain ambitions are facing challenges.

Analysis of MOV instruction
The format of the MOV instruction in ARM is as follows op2 occupies 12 bits, of which bit11-bit8 is the shift number (rotate), bit7-0 is an 8-bit immediate number (imm), MOV Rn, op2, after execution, Rn=op2 (rotate * 2), the shift here is a circular right shift, which determines that not all immediate numbers can b

Relationship between LDR and LTORG in ARM assembly
I have been studying arm assembly language syntax for more than a month. I finally got started. Of course, there are still many things worth continuing to work hard on.   Recently I have some new insights into LDR and LTORG.   LDR is a compare-copy instruction. It is a single data read instruction from memory to regis
