The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) has announced the winners of the 2020 GSA Awards. For 25 years, the GSA Awards have recognized the best semiconductor companies in the field. The GSA Awards are designed to continuously recognize semiconductor companies that excel in a variety of areas, from outstanding leadership to financial achievements and overall respect within the industry.
Individual Awards:
Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award
GSA's most respected award, as its name suggests, is intended to recognize industry leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the global semiconductor industry through their outstanding personal vision and leadership, leading industry change, boosting industry development, innovation, growth and long-term opportunities. This year, the committee gave up nominating the winner, mainly because it wanted to personally present this lifetime achievement award.
Women's Influence Rising Star Award
This award recognizes and profiles the next generation of female leaders in the semiconductor industry who, through their recognized abilities, will rise to senior management positions in their organizations. This year the award was presented to Jaya Jagadish, Corporate Vice President of Chip Design Engineering at AMD.
Company Awards:
