Suzhou Dongwei Semiconductor Co., Ltd. recently received investment from Haobo Technology Investment Co., Ltd., which is wholly owned by Huawei Investment Holding Co., Ltd.
According to Qichacha data, Dongwei Semiconductor was founded in 2008 and has currently received four rounds of financing. The other three rounds of financing are: the seed round invested by Yuanhe Capital, the angel round jointly invested by Guozhong Venture Capital, ZTE Venture Capital, and SMIC Juyuan, and the A round of financing invested by Fengshi Capital.
The charging head website further learned that as a technology-driven semiconductor technology company, Dongwei Semiconductor has deep technical accumulation in the field of semiconductor core technology devices, focuses on semiconductor device technology innovation, and owns a number of semiconductor device core patents. Dongwei's GreenMOS series products are the earliest high-voltage super junction product series in China to be mass-produced and enter industrial-grade applications. It occupies a leading position among domestic brands and is widely used in high-power application fields such as charging pile modules and communication power supplies.
In the field of consumer power supplies, Dongwei Semiconductor's MOS has been adopted by many fast charging products such as Lenovo YOGA 65W USB PD fast charging charger, Nanfu Aircharge 65W PD fast charging charger, Baseus 65W gallium nitride charger, JD Jingzao dual-port 30W fast charging charger, and First Guard 30W USB PD fast charging charger, and has gained good customer reputation.
At the same time, in order to meet the needs of high-density fast charging of consumer power supplies, Dongwei Semiconductor also launched a new series of Super-Silicon MOSFET products this year. This series uses mature silicon-based materials and processes to ensure long-term reliability and stability under extreme conditions such as lightning strikes and high temperatures. In addition, the Super-Silicon series pushes the switching performance of GreenMOS to the extreme, reaching a switching frequency of more than 1MHz, achieving an effect comparable to that of gallium nitride power devices, and has been mass-produced in many mainstream clients such as Lenovo.
