PD fast charging + I2S input with built-in DSP digital amplifier IC combination boosts the performance upgrade of Bluetooth speakers powered by two series lithium batteries
introduction
With the improvement of living standards, everyone wants to release from the pressure of life. More and more people yearn for outdoor sports, camping, etc., to release pressure and liberate themselves in the embrace of nature, which has become one of the reasons for the popularity of outdoor travel. Therefore, many speaker manufacturers have begun to launch outdoor Bluetooth speakers for outdoor use. However, Bluetooth speakers on the market generally have many pain points such as short battery life and poor sound quality.
Shenzhen Yongfukang Technology Co., Ltd. has been focusing on the audio market. Now, for the outdoor Bluetooth speaker application powered by two lithium batteries in series, it has launched a PD2.0/QC2.0 fast charging + I2S input built-in DSP digital amplifier audio boost charging combination solution. This solution has three combination levels:
(I) Overall solution design The power supply is two lithium batteries in series, and the charging chip is M3033; M3033 is a multi-section 100W buck-boost lithium battery charging management chip with built-in PD2.0/QC2.0 and other fast charging protocols. The operating voltage range is 4.5-25V and can support 2-7 series lithium battery fast charging. Now as the power of speakers is getting bigger and bigger, in order to ensure the battery life, the battery capacity is increased. Many outdoor Bluetooth speakers use two strings and multiple parallels. The charging process of traditional charging management chips is too long. M3033 can realize fast charging of large-capacity lithium battery packs. Use Type-C to charge directly, without the need for a dedicated adapter, to avoid waste of resources.
(II) The power boost uses HT7181, which boosts two lithium batteries to 15V with an efficiency of up to 93%. The HT7181 has a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 16V, which can support applications using single or two lithium batteries, or 12V lead-acid batteries. The device has a 14A switching current capability and can provide a maximum output voltage of 17.8V. The chip uses ESOP-8 packaging and has a simple periphery.
(III) The audio amplifier uses FS2105, 15V power supply output 2*20W/4 ohm (THD+1%); FS2105E is a dual-channel medium-power audio amplifier chip with integrated Fourier FS Techno sound effect algorithm, which supports up to 2x30W stereo BTL or 60W mono PBTL output. Compared with traditional analog input audio amplifiers, it has obvious advantages in bottom noise, signal-to-noise ratio, etc.; built-in 15-band EQ adjustment and three-band DRC, simple tuning software interface, easy for engineers to use, to achieve perfect sound quality output.
