With the increasing number of users using magnetic flap level gauges in the market , our company often receives feedback from users about the use of magnetic flap level gauges. There are many kinds of questions asked, mainly focusing on installation and use. According to the cases we communicated with users, many faults and even the so-called "product quality" problems are caused by human error. However, as a manufacturer with the concept of "service first, user first", we did not choose to shirk responsibility when encountering such problems, but actively helped users solve the problems. In order to reduce the occurrence of similar errors in the use of other users, this article is written to explain it. I hope that users can pay attention to it by reading this article.
1. Generally, magnetic flap level gauges are packed in wooden boxes when transported, and the internal clamps are tight. However, even so, even if a good transportation partner is selected, it cannot guarantee that the transportation is perfect and undamaged. Therefore, you must check whether the wooden box is intact before unpacking. If there is some damage, you must contact the manufacturer or be careful to unpack it, so as not to accidentally damage the level gauge that was not damaged during the unpacking process, such as scratches on the panel, because the panel is most susceptible to damage by hammers or other hard tools during the unpacking process.
2. Try not to hit the level gauge violently for many times at the installation site, which may cause damage to the internal float or other parts.
3. Since objects vibrate and move during transportation, try to use the factory-matched "bullet head" magnet to straighten the flip column in the flap from beginning to end before fixing the bolts to ensure the consistency of magnetic flipping. 4.
During debugging, the upper guide pipe valve should be opened first, and then the lower valve should be opened slowly to allow the medium to enter the main pipe smoothly (during operation, the medium should be prevented from rapidly impacting the float, causing the float to fluctuate violently and affecting the display accuracy). Observe whether the magnetic red and white ball flips normally, then close the lower guide pipe valve, open the drain valve, and let the liquid level in the main pipe drop. Operate three times according to this method. If it is normal, it can be put into operation (except for special liquids such as corrosive liquids).
5. The installation position of the magnetic flap level gauge should avoid or be far away from the inlet and outlet of the material medium to avoid rapid changes in the local area of the material fluid, which affects the accuracy of the liquid level measurement
. 6. The magnetic flap level gauge must be installed vertically to ensure that the magnetic float can move freely up and down in the main pipe.
7. For special materials, such as PP materials. These are prone to cracking due to excessive installation force and need to be paid attention to. If the flatness of the upper and lower flanges of the tank body is not flat or flush, then when the upper and lower flanges are connected, tightening the bolts hard will cause cracks or even breaks in the lower leg part of the level gauge flange and the level gauge steel pipe. This is why some customers have recently reported that this place is leaking. (Pre-factory pressure and water tests are carried out, and this kind of leakage caused by this reason is occasionally caused by these reckless operations of customers.)
8. No magnetic conductors are allowed to approach the cylinder of the magnetic flap level gauge, otherwise it will directly affect the normal operation of the level gauge.
9. Solid impurities and magnetic impurities should not enter the cylinder of the magnetic flap level gauge to avoid blocking the float and weakening the buoyancy.
10. According to the medium conditions, the drain valve can be opened regularly to clean the main pipe and remove the deposited materials in the pipe.
11. When equipped with remote transmission supporting instruments, the following points must be met: The sensing surface on the remote transmission supporting instrument should face and be close to the main conduit; the remote transmission supporting instrument should be close to the main conduit of the level gauge and fixed with a stainless steel clamp (iron is prohibited); the zero position of the remote transmission supporting instrument should be on the same horizontal line as the zero position indication of the level gauge; the connection between the remote transmission supporting instrument and the display instrument or industrial computer should preferably be laid separately through a protective tube or with a shielded two-core cable; after the wiring hole of the junction box is laid, it is required to be well sealed to prevent the intrusion of rain, moisture, etc., which may cause the remote transmission supporting instrument to malfunction; the junction box should be covered in time after maintenance or commissioning is completed
