As u-blox's latest multi-frequency timing solution, it can compensate for ionospheric errors from multiple GNSS satellite constellations and reduce timing errors to less than 5 nanoseconds in an unobstructed environment without the need for external GNSS correction services. In addition, the solution also tracks as many satellite signals as possible to achieve optimal performance.


Future-oriented L1/L5 timing solution


As satellite constellations transmitting signals in the L5 band are about to be completed, L1/L5 signal combinations are becoming a viable option to supplement existing L1 and L2 signal-based product portfolios. Since L5 signals belong to the protected ARNS (Aeronautical Radio Navigation Service) band, they are less susceptible to RF interference and are expected to provide better performance even in harsh urban environments.
