Advanced semiconductor devices are the cornerstone of innovation in the electronics industry. In recent years, in response to the rapid development of the market, semiconductor processes have been developing in the direction of miniaturization. At the same time, more and more semiconductor components are integrated into electronic equipment. In this context, the use of circuit protection devices has become increasingly important. From the simple glass tube fuses of the past to varistors and then to TVS, circuit protection devices have not only changed in form, but their circuit protection performance has also been continuously improved.
One of the most commonly used protection devices in the electronics industry is the TVS diode, which has extremely fast response speed (sub-nanosecond level) and very high surge protection. When both ends of the circuit are impacted by high energy, the TVS tube can convert the impedance value at both ends from high impedance to low impedance with a PS-level response speed, absorb a large current instantly, and clamp the voltage at both ends at a predetermined value. Protect precision components in circuits from transient high voltage spikes.
