LP50xx, the industry's highest performance RGB LED driver chip, is coming soon
-High dimming accuracy, away from audio interference
As smart speakers, e-cigarettes, and smart home devices become more and more popular, LEDs are becoming more and more common as a human-machine interface. How to drive these LEDs more, faster, better, and more economically has always been a problem that design engineers need to consider. Especially in the following situations, a good LED driver chip can help the design solve many difficult problems:
1. When the number of chips that need to drive LEDs is very large, the GPIO pins of the MCU will be stretched to the limit.
2. LEDs can produce a variety of dynamic effects, and it may take a lot of time for design engineers to program and implement these effects.
LP50xx Series RGB LED Drivers
TI's latest LP50xx series RGB LED driver was created to solve these market problems. It has 12-bit dimming accuracy, and the color adjustment and brightness adjustment are independent of each other. This can achieve a very soft dynamic change effect, dimming and dimming at the same time. A more considerate design is that the PWM dimming frequency is set at 29kHZ, and when applied to smart speakers and voice-related devices, there will be no product noise interference. The LP50xx product serial channel number ranges from 9 to 36 in various options, and is flexibly controlled through the I2C interface. The number of LEDs is ever-changing, and the only thing that remains unchanged is that only one I2C interface is required.
TI not only provides chips, but also provides the support that may be needed during the design process, such as EVM, GUI, Demo and TI design.

Ultra-low standby power consumption true wireless headset charging box reference design TIDA-050007
True wireless earphones products
Due to the extremely small size of true wireless earphones, only very small lithium-ion batteries can be placed inside the earphones. The capacity of the charging box is generally less than 1000mA·H. TIDA-050007 provides a complete power solution from the charging box to the earphones. The innovative design of TIDA-050007 extends the use time of the charging box while reducing the PCB board size of the charging box and the earphones. The overall standby power consumption is only 18µA. The boost chip TPS61099 is a synchronous boost chip with an ultra-low quiescent current of 0.8µA. It also uses a 1.23mm×0.88mm 6-ball WCSP package, which is very suitable for this charging box application. This reference design also adjusts the FB pin voltage by detecting the battery voltage of the earbuds, so that the charging voltage is adjusted according to the changes in the battery voltage of the earphones. Compared with the conventional 5-V fixed voltage output OTG boost solution, this reference design can improve the overall charging efficiency by more than 15%.

MSP430FR215x and MSP430FR235x series microcontrollers: A new generation of ultra-low power analog-to-digital integrated microcontrollers for sensor measurement is now available
A new generation of microcontrollers can quickly and efficiently adapt to many different types of sensing and measurement applications, such as those involving the sensing, measurement and transmission of light, humidity, temperature, power current, carbon monoxide and many other conditions or parameters. The most prominent representatives of this new type of microcontroller are the MSP430FR215x and MSP430FR235x series of microcontrollers.
The MSP430FR235x microcontrollers provide configurable signal chain peripherals while supporting a maximum operating temperature of 105 degrees Celsius to meet the needs of industrial applications. The MSP430FR235x microcontrollers integrate four smart analog combos, each of which can be used as a 12-bit DAC or a configurable programmable gain Op Amp to meet the specific needs of the system while reducing BOM and PCB size. The device also includes a 12-bit SAR ADC and two enhanced comparators.
The MSP430FR235x microcontroller has a powerful 16-bit reduced instruction set (RISC) CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 24MHz, and a built-in 22KB ROM version of the peripheral driver library and FFT operation library to achieve higher coding efficiency, less code space, and faster operation speed. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) also allows the device to wake up from low-power mode and enter working mode within 10µs.
The MSP430FR235x microcontroller provides extensive software and hardware ecosystem support. Sample programs and reference designs enable you to quickly start your design. The hardware development platform includes the MSP-EXP430FR3555 LaunchPad™ development kit, the MSP-TS430PT48 development board and the temperature transmitter reference design. TI also provides free MSP430Ware™ software as a component of the TI Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment. MSP microcontrollers also provide a wealth of online resources, training, and online technical support through the E2E community forum.
The MSP430FR215x and MSP430FR235x series of microcontrollers are ideal for applications such as smoke detection, LMP2.5 detection, industrial transmitters, industrial circuit breakers, oximeters, etc.
