Amichai Ron, senior vice president of Texas Instruments' embedded processing products, pointed out in a video speech: "The emergence of edge AI technology enables designers to use existing data to create better applications and bring computing power closer to the data source, thereby improving response time, reducing power consumption and enhancing data privacy."
With the continuous maturity of technology and the continuous expansion of application scenarios, edge AI is showing strong vitality and broad development space.
Amichai Ron also pointed out :
TI's scalable product portfolio, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, wireless connectivity and radar-based devices , is equipped with integrated AI accelerators to support a variety of edge AI applications. At the same time, TI also provides a complete software and tool solution that makes it easy to start development regardless of your background in AI.
Texas Instruments innovative products:
Strength built, creating greater success
Texas Instruments has been recognized by industry experts and electronics enthusiasts for its digital signal processing, broad hardware and software portfolio, and deep system expertise. In the 2024 Global Electronics Achievement Awards, the AWR2544 77GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor chip won the Sensor of the Year Award , and the MSPM0G3507 microcontroller won the Microcontroller of the Year Award .
Texas Instruments' MSPM0G3507 microcontroller is a highly integrated, ultra-low-power 32-bit MCU. It is based on the enhanced Arm ® Cortex ® -M0+ 32-bit core platform and can operate at up to 80MHz. This low-cost MCU provides high-performance analog peripheral integration, supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, and runs at a power supply voltage of 1.62V to 3.6V. In addition, the MSPM0G3507 is equipped with a rich peripheral interface to facilitate user system integration. This chip is suitable for various types of motor control systems, including brushless DC motors, stepper motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors, etc. Its wide range of applications includes industrial automation, electric vehicles, aerospace, robotics , etc.
Texas Instruments has launched the AWR2544 single-chip radar sensor designed specifically for satellite radar architecture . The AWR2544 uses advanced waveguide interface packaging (LOP) technology to support the extension of the sensor range to more than 200 meters and reduce the size of the radar sensor module by 30%. As the second generation of Texas Instruments' self-transmitting and self-receiving millimeter wave sensor, the AWR2544 increases the number of antennas that transmit and receive, while improving the accuracy of the antenna to enhance sensor fusion and ADAS decision-making capabilities, achieving a higher level of automation.
