TE Connectivity releases annual corporate responsibility report detailing its sustainability progress
In its latest annual corporate responsibility report, TE Connectivity (hereinafter referred to as "TE"), a global industry technology leader in connectivity and sensing, details the significant achievements it has made in achieving its sustainability and social responsibility goals over the past year. progress .
Since 2020, TE has reduced the company’s absolute direct Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 72%. In addition, TE has also committed to reducing "Scope 3" greenhouse gas emissions indirectly generated by its value chain: by 2032, reduce emissions by 30% compared to the 2022 baseline.

TE's greenhouse gas reduction goals have been recognized by the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and will help combat global warming and avoid the most devastating impacts of climate change. SBTi is an initiative jointly launched by the CDP Global Environmental Information Research Center (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
