SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 11, 2019 – Quantenna Connectivity Solutions, a division of ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ:
ON
), today announced that Orange France, a leading European broadband service provider, has again selected ON Semiconductor to provide the Wi-Fi chipset for its latest gateway, the Livebox 5.
With speeds up to 2 Gbps, the new gateway makes it easy and convenient for all family members to share a connection, using their favorite connected devices and most demanding applications. Its compact design, made from recycled plastic, reduces its total carbon footprint by nearly 30% compared to the previous generation.
Leveraging the superior performance of ON Semiconductor Wi-Fi chipsets, Livebox 5 is designed to provide customers with an exceptional and seamless Wi-Fi experience while reducing the impact on the environment.
