It is said that once you enter the telecom industry, it is like entering a deep sea. It is difficult to buy a mobile phone from then on. However, the Internet tariff of telecom is really affordable. I just bought a telecom card. After choosing and choosing, I finally decided to top up my faith and place an order on the moto official website for 999 to buy a telecom version of moto g. After waiting for about a week, SF Express knocked on the door and delivered the goods.

The box contains the moto g

Can't wait to open the box

It just lies there quietly

This is a list, not an invoice. The invoice will be sent out one week after I receive the goods.

Open the box and you will see a big M

Family photo, headphones, charger, Lenovo is kind enough to give away two original color cases

At this moment, tragedy occurred, because my telecom card is a nano sim card, and moto g uses a micro sim card, so I inserted the card slot in to try, but the card was stuck inside and I couldn't take it out. Finally, I used tools to force it out, but ended up breaking the two small copper sheets in the card slot that were in close contact with the sim card, which led to the following.

I got my phone less than ten minutes ago and the card slot broke. What should I do? So I called customer service to explain the situation. The customer service asked me to find the nearest after-sales service to confirm the problem with the phone and then study the specific solution.
That night I found the after-sales address on the official website of Moto. I went to the after-sales service early the next morning. When I arrived at the door, they were not at work yet, but I saw this

Since I was here, I waited for the door to open and asked about the specific situation. A guy in Lenovo work clothes greeted me when I entered the door. He asked about the situation, looked at my phone and said that they were currently adjusting their business and did not have the authority to repair it. Moreover, my machine had been in my hands for less than 15 days and could not be disassembled for repair. Whether to replace or return it, I needed to get the invoice before deciding. He suggested that I go to the after-sales service in Zhongguancun. I took

a leave in the afternoon and left work more than an hour earlier, and came to Zhongguancun.

The after-sales service is located on the second floor below ground of Dinghao Electronics Market on the left side of the picture.

The current Dinghao Electronics Market is far worse than before, with a sense of depression

arrive

The after-sales service is quite large, but the items are placed irregularly, which makes it look messy.

After waiting for about 5 minutes, it was my turn. I took out the machine and explained the situation. The customer service guy smiled and said to me that many machines had the same problem. This was considered man-made damage and the card slot needed to be replaced. I had just replaced the card slot for a customer with the same machine for 168 yuan. He asked me if I would pay for the repair. I said that the repair cost was too high. The machine was bought for 999 yuan, and it would cost 168 to repair a card slot, accounting for 16.8% of the total value of the machine. The money I paid for the machine included after-sales service. Even if it was man-made damage, your repair cost should be lower than or equal to that of the outside. Otherwise, why would I buy licensed goods? I would spend a few hundred less to buy a parallel import. If it breaks, I can just find someone to repair it myself. The customer service said that this was the stipulated price, so I asked if there were other after-sales service nearby that could repair moto? He said yes, in the Asian Games Village and Gongzhufen, but he didn't know the specific address and needed me to check on the official website of moto. At this moment, his colleague came over and asked me if I would sell the machine. They were now recycling used 2 mobile phones. With my mobile phone at a discount, I could buy other Lenovo models or offset the repair costs with additional money...

I turned around and walked away without saying anything, leaving this place that made me unhappy. When
I got home at night, thinking about what happened during the day, I went to the official website of Moto and wrote a very long email to Moto. The general meaning was that since the price of Moto mobile phones includes the cost of after-sales service, then this service needs to be cost-effective. Otherwise, why don’t we spend a little more money to go out for repairs, or save a few hundred yuan to buy parallel imports from overseas. At the same time, it suggested that Moto learn from the services of its competitors, and listed several mobile phone brands that I won’t mention here. However, Moto replied to me with a more official email, saying that they had recorded my problem and asked me to go to the local after-sales service for details.
Well, from now on I will completely give up this after-sales service. I bought the card slot of this phone from the omnipotent Jack Ma and I will repair it myself!

I spent less than 100 RMB and received the so-called original card slot for this machine. It looks finely made, but I don't know if it is original.

Ready to disassemble the phone for comparison

Use plastic film between the screwdriver and the screw to prevent the screw from being twisted.

After removing 14 screws of different sizes, the back cover can be easily opened. Hey? Why are there two big fingerprints on the copper foil? Don't the workers on the assembly line wear gloves when assembling the machine? This kind of fingerprint can't be wiped off at all. After wiping for several minutes, it doesn't seem to come off at all. Oh, forget it.

After careful observation, there are no fingerprints anywhere else.

Compared with the card slot I bought, it looks like it is genuine. However, there is an "o"-like font on the back of the card slot I bought . I don't know what it means. Does it mean it is qualified?

Carefully pry open the top connection cable, use tweezers to remove the vibration motor from the buckle, and then use a blade to gently peel off the card slot on the original phone. Note that the two sides of the original card slot are glued with double-sided tape. Be extra careful when peeling it with a blade, and try not to damage the copper foil. There is also double-sided tape on the original vibration motor, so it is not easy to remove it . At this moment, you must be bold and careful to do it in one go.

The removed card slot. From the large picture, you can see that the copper piece in the lower card slot that contacts the SIM card is broken. The upper card slot is the new one I bought.

Plug the new card slot's connection cable into the corresponding position and install the vibration motor. Now it's best to install the card and turn on the computer to see if there is any problem.

Slot 1 shows China Mobile. There is no signal because the back cover is not installed (the antenna is integrated on the back cover of the phone).

It looks like it's OK, you can directly use the double-sided tape on the card slot to stick it back to the original position.
Do you see the copper screws on the motherboard? This is the first time I've seen copper screws in a mobile phone. I like the workmanship and materials of moto.

Check that there is no dust on the camera and lens and then you are ready to install it.

Tighten the screws and make sure they fit tightly

The screws are still a little screwed, but that doesn't matter.

Install the card Power on

Full signal

Faith is back

Made a try call, and it worked , it looks like it was done.

The original card slot is kept as a souvenir. In fact, this can be repaired. Just use an air gun to blow off the SIM1 and then solder a new one. The cost is less than 5 yuan, but it is very difficult. I hope the customer service will not repair it this way.

Now I am waiting for the invoice to be sent.
