Mouser Electronics is now stocking Murata's ZPA series of MEMS pressure sensors. The small (2.3 × 2.6 mm) microelectromechanical system (MEMS) sensors provide highly accurate pressure readings in the range of 300 to 1,100 hPa with resolutions as low as 0.016 Pa.
The Murata ZPA series MEMS pressure sensors distributed by Mouser use capacitive sensing technology to achieve an absolute sensing accuracy of ±1.0 hPa over a wide temperature range (-10°C to +65°C; P=800 to 1,100hPa), a typical low noise level of 1.1 PaRMS with a conversion time of 0.16s and a current consumption of only 6.3µA.
The ZPA series MEMS pressure sensors feature SPI and I2C communication interfaces and are designed for applications requiring high accuracy and low current consumption, including medical devices, elevator equipment, indoor navigation, and weather observation.
