ADI and Divima Semiconductor jointly launch the industry's most advanced FPV digital high-definition image transmission solution

Analog Devices and DIVIMATH Semiconductor jointly announced a strategic partnership to work closely together in the field of first-person view (FPV) racing drones to jointly promote HDZero TM , the most advanced digital high-definition wireless image transmission solution in the FPV industry .


With the development of the remote mobile device market, including racing drones and future autonomous driving transmission systems, the demand for robust RF links and high-definition wireless image transmission is becoming more and more important. The HDZero TM solution composed of the RF transceiver AD936X series chips provided by ADI and the digital high-definition wireless image transmission DM5680 baseband chip of DIVIMATH has achieved stable and near-zero delay transmission of high-definition video under extremely low signal-to-noise ratio conditions.


Since FPV racing drones fly at speeds of up to 200 km/h, real-time and reliable reception of high-definition video is crucial for pilots to effectively control the drone.


The RF transceiver chip AD936X provided by ADI can cover the RF frequency band (47MHz – 6GHz), support 20MHz and above bandwidth, and has dual-transmit dual-receive and automatic gain control functions. These features ensure high-quality RF transmission.


The AD936x family is the first in the RadioVerse technology and design ecosystem to deliver a new generation of wideband radio frequency (RF) transceivers that combine wideband functionality and programmability in a compact, integrated 10mm x 10mm package, making it ideal for a variety of SDR wireless applications such as 3G/4G Picocells, wireless video transmission and IoT gateways.



The AD936x family of RF transceivers includes the AD9361, AD9363, and AD9364.

  • The AD9361 is designed for a variety of low power wireless applications. The radio SoC covers the 70 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range with a tunable channel bandwidth from less than 200 kHz to 56 MHz. It is a highly integrated single-chip solution that includes an RF front end, flexible mixed-signal baseband section, frequency synthesizers, two ADCs, and two direct conversion receivers.


  • AD9363 is also designed for various low-power wireless applications, such as femtocells, DAS, and wireless video transmission. This radio SoC covers the frequency range of 325 MHz to 3.8 GHz, with a tunable channel bandwidth from less than 200 kHz to 20 MHz. Same as AD9361. It is a highly integrated single-chip solution that includes an RF front end, a flexible mixed-signal baseband section, a frequency synthesizer, two ADCs, and two direct conversion receivers, while also supporting TDD and FDD operating modes.


  • The AD9364 SDR transceiver is pin compatible with the AD9361. This single-channel radio SoC covers the 70 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range with a tuned channel bandwidth up to 56 MHz.



The DM5680 chip provided by DIVIMATH can achieve near-zero-delay transmission of high-definition video by transmitting raw video (uncompressed video stream). In addition, DM5680 also provides a full link of audio and data from the air to ground equipment.
