From wired to wireless – Time-sensitive networks meet all needs from B to C
What do you think of when you hear the three letters TSN? What do you think of when you hear time-sensitive networking? As network speeds have increased from 10M, 100M, 1G, and 10G, meeting the "basic" bandwidth requirements in advance, higher-level network quality has become the goal pursued by users, and latency is the most critical one. By means of traffic shaping, resource management, time synchronization, and redundant transmission, various new technologies of time-sensitive networks have provided IP networks with unlimited possibilities for real-time services.
The finalization of 3GPP R16 has made URLLC (Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication) one of the three major features of 5G possible, and has further expanded the time-sensitive network from the wired field to the wireless field. The introduction of the TT (TSN Translator) component enables the end-to-end time-sensitive network across the 5G network to achieve its QoS goals and requirements, thereby achieving a variety of 5G private networks, including 5G smart factories, 5G smart docks, 5G smart mines, and many other 5G to B applications.
In order to ensure that important mission-critical data can run flawlessly in time-sensitive networks, testing and verification have the important mission of escorting.
