Radio Frequency, usually abbreviated as RF. RF test is radio frequency current, which is the abbreviation of a high-frequency alternating current changing electromagnetic wave.
RF Concept
It refers to the electromagnetic frequency that can be radiated into space, ranging from 300KHz to 30GHz. Radio frequency is abbreviated as RF, which is the abbreviation of radio frequency current, a high-frequency alternating electromagnetic wave. Alternating current that changes less than 1000 times per second is called low-frequency current, and alternating current that changes more than 10,000 times per second is called high-frequency current, and radio frequency is such a high-frequency current. Cable TV systems use radio frequency transmission.
Test Method
Use RF cables to connect the power divider as shown above, and use a signal source and spectrum analyzer to measure the loss of the two paths from 5515C to EUT and from EUT to spectrum analyzer, and then record the loss values.
After measuring the loss, connect the EUT, E5515C and spectrum analyzer to the power divider according to the schematic diagram, and connect the end of the power divider with greater attenuation to the spectrum analyzer.
Adjust the channel number and path loss compensation on the E5515C, and then set the E5515C according to the parameters in the following table.
A call connection is established between the EUT and E5515C, and then the E5515C parameters are adjusted to the all up bits power control mode to enable the EUT to output at maximum power.
Set the path loss compensation on the spectrum analyzer, and then test the conducted spurious emission by frequency segment according to the following table. The peak power of each spectrum segment must be lower than the limit specified in the standard in the following table, and record the measured data.
Then reset the parameters of E5515C according to the table below.
The EUT re-establishes the call connection with E5515C and sets the E5515C parameters to the power control mode alternating between 0 and 1.
Reset the spectrum analyzer according to the following table, and test the conducted spurious signals according to the frequency segments. The peak power of each spectrum segment measured must be lower than the limit specified in the standard in the following table, and record the measured data.
