1. ADI launches the latest basic analog nanoPower module
Analog Devices has announced two nanoPower modules from its family of basic analog, high-efficiency power ICs with built-in inductors to help designers extend battery life and reduce size in space-constrained IoT devices. The MAXM38643 provides a 1.8V to 5.5V input, 330nA quiescent current (IQ), 600mA step-down module, and the MAXM17225 provides a 0.4V to 5.5V input, 300nA IQ, true shutdown 1A boost module, which has lower IQ and longer battery life than competing solutions. By integrating a preset inductor, these micro system-level IC modules (uSLIC™) can speed up time to market and reduce the size of the solution by 37% compared to stand-alone ICs plus external inductors.

3. Infineon OptiMOS™ TOLx series launches new package
The OptiMOS 6 100 V series MOSFET adopts a novel design concept, with lower on-resistance and better figure of merit (FOM) among similar products. The two characteristics of extremely low on-resistance and excellent switching performance allow OptiMOS 6 to simplify thermal design and reduce the number of components that need to be connected in parallel, thereby bringing excellent efficiency, improving power density, reducing system costs, and extending product life. Especially in the field of telecommunications, OptiMOS 6 is more disruptive. Compared with the advanced OptiMOS 5 currently on the market, its on-resistance is reduced by 18% and FOM is reduced by more than 30%.

4. Microchip launches the industry’s most versatile maXTouch® touchscreen controller
The MXT1296M1T can reconfigure the driver and receiver touch channels to match the exact screen format, from 1:1 to 5:1 aspect ratios, including the mainstream 8:3 automotive aspect ratio.
This feature enables customers to effectively utilize the number of touch channels they already have without having to choose a larger, more expensive touch controller.
In addition, customers can support different touch sensor aspect ratios by reusing a common PCB design, saving additional development and verification time and resources.
The MXT1296M1T is the industry's first product to enable sensor channel reconfiguration via parameters.
These settings do not require firmware modifications, reducing design risk and accelerating time to market.
