SGM51652H4 and SGM51652H8 are 4-channel and 8-channel SAR ADCs respectively, with 16-bit resolution and up to 500kSPS sampling rate (single channel). Powered by a single unipolar 5V, these devices support bipolar ±10.24V, ±5.12V and ±2.56V inputs, as well as 0V to 10.24V and 0V to 5.12V unipolar input ranges (input ranges are software configurable). The input impedance of the ADC is not affected by the sampling frequency and input range configuration. In addition, the SAR ADC also provides ±20V overvoltage protection at the input end, has an on-chip high-precision and low-drift 10ppm voltage reference source, and a digital interface compatible with the traditional SPI protocol. The on-chip integrated PGA is a highlight of the SGM51652H4/H8 architecture. It should be known that in industrial process control systems, a configurable and flexible input range is required.
