OpenAI negotiates financing for new chip project with Middle Eastern investors

1nm process plant site selection determined
Recently, according to sources, TSMC’s 1nm process will be located in the Chiayi Science Park. TSMC has proposed to the relevant administration authorities a land requirement of 100 hectares, of which 40 hectares will be used to establish an advanced packaging plant first, and the subsequent 60 hectares will be used as land for the 1nm factory. Recently, Jincheng Chengxin announced that the company plans to establish a new overseas wholly-owned subsidiary to acquire 80% of the equity of Lubambe Copper Mine Limited ("LCML") held by Konnoco (B) Inc. for US$1, and to acquire Lubambe Copper Holdings for US$1. Limited's US$857 million loan to LCML. If the transaction is completed, the company will own 80% of the Lubambe copper mine.
