❶ 42.5 million euros! India's Tessolve acquires German chip design company DCT
India's Tessolve has acquired Dream Chip Technologies (DCT), a leading chip design company based in Hanover, Germany, in a deal worth 4 billion rupees (42.5 million euros, 47.4 million U.S. dollars). DCT has 72 employees and was acquired by Chinese company Goodix Technology in 2020. On November 5 this year, Goodix Technology announced that it plans to transfer 100% of the equity of DCT GmbH and DCT BV held by its wholly-owned subsidiary Goodix Hong Kong to Tessolve Engineering Service Pte. Ltd. After the completion of this equity transfer, Goodix Hong Kong will no longer hold the equity of the above-mentioned target company. The initial transaction price determined by negotiation between the two parties is 42.5 million euros. (Jiwei.com)
❷USTC achieves DNA logic operation-driven nano-supercrystal construction
The research team of the University of Science and Technology of China published an important research result in the international academic journal "Journal of the American Chemical Society". They used programmable DNA chain replacement reaction to precisely control the nanoparticle catalytic assembly process, successfully constructed a series of DNA logic operation devices without signal leakage, and for the first time realized the construction of large-scale three-dimensional colloidal supercrystals driven by DNA molecular logic. This achievement makes it possible to build more complex and larger-scale DNA logic systems, and shows broad application prospects in fields such as information security. (Ai Jiwei)
❸Shenhao Technology and its holding subsidiary are expected to win the bid for a 300 million yuan energy storage project
On November 6, Shenhao Technology announced that the company and its holding subsidiary Hangzhou Shenhao Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenhao Energy Storage) recently received a "Pre-Bidding Notice" issued by Hunan Hengyu Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., notifying the company and Shenhao Energy Storage (Consortium) as the pre-bid winners of the energy storage system equipment, primary equipment, secondary equipment and main transformer equipment of the first phase of the Ouyinghua Boxing lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage project, with a pre-bid price of 300 million yuan. However, as of the date of the announcement, the company and Shenhao Energy Storage (Consortium) have not yet officially received the notice of winning the bid, nor have they formally signed a written contract with the purchasing unit. There is still a certain degree of uncertainty in the subsequent work such as project winning and signing. (Every Jingwang)
❹ Tesla obtains new patent related to neural networks
Tesla obtained a patent on Tuesday that creates a system and method for adapting a neural network model on a hardware platform. The patent application states that the method includes obtaining neural network model information covering decision points related to the neural network, wherein one or more first decision points are associated with the layout of the neural network. It is also necessary to point out that machine learning applications often require the implementation and/or configuration of neural networks on platforms that have not been implemented before.
