How KiCAD schematics and PCB interact [Copy link]

I recently watched some teaching videos related to KiCAD, and I want to ask if there is a function like in AD where you can select a component in the schematic and press T+S to directly highlight the corresponding component in the PCB? I searched on Baidu but couldn't find any introduction to how KiCAD's schematic and PCB interact; I wonder if there are any experts who are familiar with it who can teach it?

As mentioned on the 7th floor, the reverse is also true. Click on the component in the PCB, and the corresponding component in the SCH will be highlighted in the middle of the wiring area. If the display is large enough, you can try this: the schematic design and the PCB design each occupy half of the screen area. I haven't tried dual screens, but I guess they can be synchronized.   Details Published on 2022-11-24 09:45

Interaction between KiCAD schematics and PCB, never used

I am not used to looking for the part on the PCB based on the number on the schematic diagram. I feel that this would be quite cumbersome.  Details Published on 2021-8-18 15:26

I asked a KiCad expert and he said there is such a function. Just hold down Ctrl and click with the mouse. You can try it.

Another hero also shared a method:

The plug-in can copy the symbol position of the schematic to the PCB package to assist in layout, which is faster than interactive.

Versions 6.0 and above already support that the components selected in SCH will also be selected in PCB and displayed in the center of the current screen.
