On August 4, the 2023 Huawei Developer Conference (HDC.Together) grandly opened in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. HarmonyOS 4 was unveiled at the conference. Smart meta-services
Compared with HarmonyOS 3, HarmonyOS 4 has new upgrades, such as meta-services, smart assistant Xiaoyi, digital asset inheritance, privacy protection, etc., giving us a brand new experience.
The conference showed us the breakthrough of meta-services on HarmonyOS 4. Meta-services have the characteristics of cross-device operation, card-based experience, active services, etc., which can bring consumers a more convenient experience, and its convenience is far superior to apps and mini-programs. According to Yu Chengdong, many ecological partners have accessed the Yuan service. After Sina Finance used the Yuan service, its active users increased by 6 times. After Ximalaya used the Yuan service, its active users increased by 11 times. After Jie Parking accessed the Yuan service, its users increased by 11 times. The frequency is three times that of the app, and the number of new users of Yao Guanjia in a single month reaches tens of millions.
As a presentation method of meta-service, universal cards have received new upgrades at this conference. In addition to the coverage of previous categories, universal cards have been added to support dynamic refresh and display service dynamics in real time. For example, users do not need to open the app to query information such as music charts, nearby food, and delivery status. They can see instantly refreshed service information on cards on different terminal screens.
In addition, as more and more ecological partners join, Yuan Service has more and more universal cards. Super Transfer Station supports more applications and scenarios, and has added practical functions such as file preview and clipboard history content query to better help users collect fragmented information. Not only mobile phones, Super Transfer Station also supports tablets and PCs, making sharing across devices very convenient. It helps users share content between different applications and devices quickly and easily.
