On January 19, Jiayuan Technology issued an announcement stating that it expects to achieve a net profit attributable to the parent company's owners of 530 million yuan to 603 million yuan in 2021, an increase of 184.25% to 223.56% year-on-year.
Regarding the reasons for the performance changes, Jiayuan Technology stated that during the reporting period, the company's initial public offering investment project "5,000 tons/year high-performance copper foil technology transformation project for new energy power batteries" achieved the expected goals; in August 2021, the company used its own funds to wholly acquire Shandong Jiayuan New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. (formerly "Shandong Xinliyuan Electronic Copper Foil Technology Co., Ltd."), and completed the acquisition and integration through equipment transformation and optimization, process improvement and introduction, and establishment and implementation of a management and control system, achieving the company's expected goals of acquiring assets and expanding production capacity; in December 2021, the company used the initial public offering over-subscription funds and convertible bond funds to invest in the construction of the "15,000 tons of high-performance copper foil project" in Shaping Industrial Park, Baidu Town, Meixian District. The first annual production line of 5,000 tons was successfully started and trial production was stable, and production was stable.
At the same time, during the reporting period, benefiting from the long-term accumulated technology and product advantages, the company, while focusing on lean production and business expansion, actively promoted various measures to improve quality and efficiency, increased the market promotion of lithium battery copper foil, and promoted the company's operational efficiency and profitability to steadily improve.
Data shows that Jiayuan Technology is the largest supplier of ultra-thin copper foil in the world. It has internationally advanced copper foil production and testing equipment, has mastered the core technology of high-performance electrolytic copper foil production, and has established long-term strategic cooperation with many well-known domestic lithium battery production leading enterprises. According to incomplete statistics, its products account for more than 30% of the domestic electrolytic copper foil market share for lithium-ion power batteries and more than 10.1% of the domestic lithium battery copper foil market share, ranking among the top three in China. Among them, the 4.5μm ultra-thin high-end lithium battery copper foil, which represents the most advanced domestic and foreign products, accounts for more than 50% of the global market share, ranking first in the industry.
