According to the news, SMIC may produce OLED driver chips for Huawei using the 40nm process. Huawei's self-developed OLED screen driver chip has completed trial production and is expected to be officially delivered to suppliers by the end of this year. After that, it is expected to be applied to Huawei's products. Since Huawei does not have a wafer fab, this chip needs to be outsourced. The OLED driver chip uses a 40/28nm process and is most likely to be produced by SMIC.
In addition to SMIC, semiconductor concept stocks such as Jingrui Technology, Guangli Technology, Minde Electronics, National Technology, and Beijing Junzheng rose by more than 10%.
