Last February, Sony launched the Xperia 1 II, Xperia 10 II, and Xperia Pro smartphones. While the other two devices became available for purchase in different markets a few months later, the company did not start selling the Xperia Pro. The latest information shared by Xperia Blog suggests that Sony might be preparing to launch the Xperia Pro in the market.
While the Xperia Pro has similar specs to the Xperia 1 II, it offers top-notch video and photography features for professionals. The firmware for the device has recently appeared on Sony's public servers, and it looks like it will be available soon.
Sony Xperia Pro has a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9. It comes with Gorilla Glass 6 protection and IP68 certification. Its front camera is 8 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.0.
The Xperia Pro's rear cameras include a 12-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 124-degree field of view, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with a focal length of 70 mm, 3x optical zoom, and OIS support.
It is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 inside, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS storage. The device's 4000mAh battery supports USB-PD charging. There is no news on the pricing of the Xperia Pro yet.
