A whistleblower @TheGalox_ revealed the detailed parameters of Sony's upcoming flagship phone Xperia 1 III on Twitter today, and announced the expected price. According to the leaked information, the phone will inherit the previous 4K OLED HDR screen, and the brightness will be increased by 15%. At the same time, the phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and side fingerprint unlocking. The phone is priced at US$1,199, or about RMB 7,837.

Surprisingly, the memory capacity of the new phone has been reduced to 8GB, while the current version is 12GB. The authenticity of the leaked information cannot be confirmed at present. In addition, the whistleblower did not reveal any pictures of the new phone. According to the parameters, the Xperia 1 III is very similar to the previous generation and also supports IP65/IP68 waterproof functions.
