The new vivo Y12s, priced at 1,000 yuan, has been launched in some Asian markets: Helio P35 chip

vivo has launched a new mid-range phone called the vivo Y12s, which is already available for purchase in Asian markets such as Hong Kong and Vietnam.

The vivo Y12s uses a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 7.41mm and weighs 191 grams.

It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear cameras include a 13-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The internal part is powered by Helio P35 chip which is combined with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage. The vivo Y12s is driven by a 5,000mAh battery which supports only 10W charging.

The Y12s also offers the usual connectivity features such as dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also comes with a side fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

The vivo Y12s is priced at HK$1,098, or about RMB 935, and comes in two colors.
