Wuhan announced that a special investment promotion event for the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration of Wuhan Development Zone (Hannan District) was recently held in Shanghai.

A relevant person in charge of the Wuhan Development Zone Smart Eco-City Management Office said that this year, the total mileage of open test roads for vehicle-road collaborative autonomous driving based on 5G full coverage in the National New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Wuhan) Test Demonstration Zone will exceed 100 kilometers, making it the largest 5G vehicle-road collaborative autonomous driving demonstration zone in the country.

In addition, Dongfeng Motor Corporation will join hands with leading autonomous driving companies such as AutoX, Yuanrong Qixing, and UISEE Technology to establish the country's largest autonomous driving fleet in Wuhan Development Zone. According to the signed investment agreement, the autonomous driving pilot project led by Dongfeng Motor Corporation will gradually deploy no less than 200 autonomous driving vehicles from 2020 to 2022, and expand the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Wuhan) Test Demonstration Area from Wuhan Development Zone to the core urban area of Wuhan City.
