On July 9, iQOO Z1x was officially released, with a starting price of 1,598 yuan. The phone is equipped with a 120Hz high refresh screen, a built-in 5000mAh large-capacity battery, and supports 33W fast charging. iQOO product manager @戈蓝V said that with the release of this product, the iQOO brand has completed its online product layout at all price segments.

The iQOO Z1x is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and adopts a 7nm process. As the first 5G-enabled chip of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 series mobile platform, Qualcomm can almost be regarded as the dominant player in the mid-range market at the beginning of the year.
As things take a turn for the better, after MediaTek and HiSilicon successively launched mid-range 5G chips, Qualcomm, which has inferior performance, has further diluted its market. From covering the product market of around 2,000 to 3,000 yuan at the beginning of the year, it has now dropped to the thousand-yuan market of around 1,500 yuan, officially announcing an era of "5G smartphones for all people."
If we compare it with the Redmi K30 5G and Realme X50 5G that we have disassembled before, the advantages and disadvantages of iQOO Z1x are also very obvious, which are concentrated in imaging and battery life.
The iQOO Z1x's rear triple camera does not have an ultra-wide-angle lens, and the main camera is Samsung's GM1, which is obviously behind the Sony IMX686 and Samsung GW1 used by Redmi and Realme. However, one of the highlights of the iQOO Z1x is its 5000mAh large battery capacity, which, with 33W fast charging, can ensure good battery life.
Overall, the iQOO Z1x has sacrificed imaging specifications, NFC and body craftsmanship (plastic back cover) in exchange for a large-capacity battery + 33W fast charging + 120Hz high refresh screen, with a starting price of only 1,598 yuan. Compared with the above two models, the price-performance ratio is still outstanding.
But the author believes that this machine was launched too late. If it had been launched a few months earlier, it would have been more attractive with its price and configuration.
This year, a very obvious trend in the 5G mobile phone market is that all manufacturers are trying their best to improve products at all price points, so iQOO is not the only brand in the thousand-yuan phone market. Above it, there is the K30 5G with a more balanced and complete configuration, and its beggar version price has further dropped to 1,399 yuan; and the Honor X10 equipped with Kirin 820 and a rear quad-camera imaging system is only 300 yuan more expensive. The Redmi 10X 5G at the same price has a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 820, supports screen fingerprints, and is not missing an ultra-wide angle, while the Redmi K30i 5G with similar configuration is even cheaper.
All of the above models were released before iQOO Z1x, and they were all the focus. Therefore, the only advantage of iQOO Z1x is 5000mAh + 33W fast charging.
The domestic smartphone market is introducing new products at a very fast pace, with manufacturers launching new models every quarter. Although most products remain essentially the same with only minor changes, it is enough to show that the low- and mid-end markets still require fighting and racing against time, like a beachhead landing.
