Recently, GAC New Energy released the world's first Beidou high-precision positioning 5G smart pure electric SUV Aion V and announced its official launch. The new car has a total of 5 models, with a post-subsidy price of 159,600-239,600 yuan.
It is reported that Aion V is equipped with the latest generation of Huawei Balong 5000 chip, as well as Huawei's V2X module's 5G T-BOX (Telematics BOX) and Ethernet module. T-Box, host, App and background together constitute the Aion V's car networking system.
At the same time, relying on the Beidou high-precision space-time intelligent service provided by Qixun Location, the positioning accuracy of Aion V reaches the centimeter level. It can know which lane it is in in real time, making driving safer and more reliable.
According to GAC New Energy, the lane-level positioning capability can help the ADiGO 3.0 autonomous driving system accurately determine the designed operating area (ODD) and decide when to hand over the autonomous driving function.
In the event that the relative positioning solution fails, such as when lane lines are irregular, lane lines are temporarily covered, there are no obvious road markers, or the curvature of the curve is too large, the Aion V can still make autonomous driving function decisions based on accurate satellite positioning and high-precision map data.
The newly launched Aion V has three battery capacity versions, with NEDC pure electric ranges of 400km, 500km, 530km and 600km. The maximum power of the drive motor is 135kW, the peak torque is 350N·m, and the acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is around 7.7 seconds.
It is worth mentioning that regarding the current development status of new energy vehicles in my country, the general manager of GAC said: In the fields of engines and gearboxes, my country can only be on par with foreign countries at best, and cannot be said to have surpassed them, but in the field of new energy vehicles, we have been able to reach the world's top level.
