According to 9to5Mac, Apple seems to be redesigning the wallpaper settings panel for iOS, and the new panel can make more detailed divisions of system wallpapers. Recently, a blogger also posted a screenshot of the iOS 14 wallpaper settings panel on Twitter.
IT Home learned that from the screenshots released by blogger DongleBookPro, the iOS 14 default wallpapers have been better classified instead of all wallpapers being put together. Users can browse each wallpaper set by sliding the screen and easily find the wallpaper they need.
In addition, the screenshots also show that iOS 14 will add a new "Home Screen Appearance" option, which is similar to the watch face settings of the Apple Watch app. After enabling this feature, users can customize smart dynamic wallpapers that are only used on the home screen. These dynamic wallpapers include monochrome, blurred versions based on the current wallpaper, and dark versions. At the same time, foreign media also found another new feature related to the Springboard app in the iOS 14 code.
Judging from the leaked iOS 14 beta code, Apple is expected to provide screen widgets for iPhone/iPad for the first time in iOS 14. These new widgets can replace the fixed widgets on iPadOS 13, but this feature is still in the planning stage and may be abandoned by Apple.
